Decowall Acoustic walnut 260x30cm 2 pieces
With the CanDo green Decowall Acoustic in walnut, you quickly and easily create a warm atmosphere in your home. With its felt backing, the slatted wall also acts as a sound absorber, improving the acoustics in the room.
The wooden wall panels are made of sustainable materials. The felt, for instance, is made of recycled PET bottles. The wood is PEFC certified and thus comes from sustainably managed forests.
The panels are room-high (260 cm) and 30 cm wide. Their light weight makes them easy to transport and handle. Assembly is also very easy: the slatted wall can be glued - both horizontally and vertically - to the wall or ceiling and (in the case of the ceiling) screwed. A big advantage is that they are also suitable for walls and ceilings that are not completely straight and level. Furthermore, a matching end profile is available to give the product an extra nice finish. These can also be used both horizontally and vertically.

Mounting instruction Decowall Acoustic - slatted wall
Before you start:
- Measure the wall you want to clad.
- Determine how many Decowall Acoustic panels you need. One panel is enough for a piece of wall or ceiling 260 cm long and 30 cm wide.
Cut panels to size:
- If necessary, cut the panel to the correct height with a fine-toothed handsaw. Tape off the battens first.
- Then, if necessary, cut the width to size by cutting the felt. Cut right next to the last slat you want to keep, using a sharp stanley knife.
Mounting on the wall - vertical:
- Using a caulking gun, dose the mounting sealant onto the felt backing of the panel.
- Fix the panel in the right place against the wall.
- Press the panel down firmly for a few seconds. Attach any subsequent panels in the same way.
Mounting on the wall - panelling:
The Decowall Acoustic panels can also be used as panelling. In that case, follow these steps: - First cut all panels to the desired height with a fine-toothed handsaw. When doing so, tape off first before sawing.
- Follow the mounting instruction of the vertical application above.
- Finally, finish the top using the separately available end profile.
Mounting on the wall - horizontal:
The Decowall Acoustic panels can also be applied horizontally. Follow the mounting instructions for vertical application. Complete the side(s) with the separately available end profiles.
Installation on the ceiling:
- Using a dispensing gun, dose the mounting sealant onto the felt back of the panel.
- Fix the panel in the right place against the ceiling.
- Press the panel down firmly for a few seconds.
- Secure the panel with screws extra tightly. Use at least 15 screws per panel. The distance between the screws should not exceed 60 cm. Preferably use black screws because of the black felt.
- Attach any subsequent panels in the same way.
