Finding the right balance between people, the environment and the economy. It's a challenge that affects us all. More and more. By making future-oriented choices now and opting for sustainability, we invest in tomorrow's world.
At CanDo, sustainability has played a major role in production and logistics for many years. For example, we work with certified wood, use more than 1,250 solar panels for our electricity and use software for the most efficient route planning.
But we CAN do even more. MUST do even more. Because we have a responsibility towards human and animal welfare, the environment and the economy. That is why we are ready for the next step: the introduction of CanDo green.
The advantages of CanDo green
CanDo green provides everything you need to make your home more beautiful in an easy way. But it is also sustainable and good for people and animals, now and in the future.

Frequently asked questions
How can I see that wood has been sustainably produced?
You can see it by the FSC or PEFC label on the packaging.
What is an FSC label?
FSC is an international quality mark with strict requirements for responsible and social forest management supported by governments, companies and environmental organisations. The FSC label has strict requirements. For instance, forests with a high nature value or vulnerable forest areas must be respected and logging along watercourses and steep slopes is not allowed because of the risk of erosion. Also, never more wood should disappear than can grow. In addition, FSC also applies social requirements. It ensures adequate wages and responsible working conditions for forest workers. The verification of the label is done by independent certifying organisations.
A PEFC label is an international label for wood (products) and paper that is supported by governments, companies and regional organisations and stands for wood from sustainably and socially managed forests. It can be either solid wood or products incorporating wood or wood fibre. PEFC also has criteria relating to social aspects. This is important for the preservation of tropical forests. PEFC has an ISO standardisation and compliance with the criteria is verified by independent organisations accredited by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

What is the difference between CanDo and CanDo green?
The difference is in sustainability. With the CanDo green range, we are taking the next step. Sustainability has played a major role at CanDo for many years. Examples include certified wood, solar panels for our electricity and efficient use of our logistics.
With CanDo green, we take even more responsibility for the well-being of people and animals, the environment and the economy. By setting even stricter requirements for products, packaging and logistics. So that CanDo green ultimately becomes the standard for all products. Including those with the 'regular' CanDo label.
Why is there a recycling icon on the packaging?
Although we use as little packaging as possible for our CanDo green products, they are always recognisable on the shelf because we use FSC-certified paper labels, stickers, wrappers and boxes. On these, you will find the symbols of the Disposal Guide. These symbols are used nationally on packaging and make it clear how packaging waste can be disposed of properly. This way, we make it easy to separate waste correctly and ultimately recycle it.
