Insect Curtain Standard

Suitable for: 
The slat insect screen is suitable for mounting on the frame for inward and outward opening doors with a maximum frame opening of 95cm by 235cm. It can be used both inside and outside.

Mounting: 
The slat insect screen is easy to mount yourself and can easily be adjusted in width and height.

Mounting on the window frame:
 The insect screen is mounted on the window frame and should be wide enough to completely cover the opening. You need 5cm extra space for this (2.5cm per side).

Cut the insect screen to size: 
Make sure the insect screen is wide enough to cover the opening and then determine the correct length of the top rail. Cut the top rail to size with a hacksaw. The slats should be cut 1cm above the ground. Next, attach the reinforcements to the underside of the slats. Finally, slide the bumper caps around the reinforcements. - When the mesh slats come out of the package a bit wrinkled, it is possible to iron them first. Place a tea towel between the mesh and the iron.

How to clean the mesh: 
Want to quickly clean your insect screen? Then use a clothes roller! Roll very gently over your mesh to remove dirt and dust. Does the insect screen feel a bit sticky? Then use a cloth with lukewarm water and a little soap. Be careful not to use too much soap. This can damage or discolour the insect screen.
